Dawn in a Patagonian Glacier Valley "The first light of dawn turns the jagged ice fields of Patagonia into a landscape of ghostly blues and silvers. A wooden refuge, half- buried in frost, stands alone against the wind, its chimney cold and silent. A narrow footpath winds through the valley, disappearing into the mist that clings to the frozen river. The air is so still that every crack of shifting ice echoes through the mountains. In the distance, a lone condor soars, its shadow sweeping across the untouched snow before vanishing into the abyss. "
