null the paper tore

In the style of ff-sc, ff-infernoink, ckcmc comic style,
The Christmas Present Was a Grizzly Bear
Under the tree, a gift so rare,
Wrapped in paper, bold and bare.
Not a toy, not a sweater or book—
A massive bear, with a hungry look.
It growled beneath the festive bow,
Eyes like amber, soft and low.
The ribbon trembled, the paper tore,
And then it roared—
The room froze in a frosty glare.
"I wanted a bike," I whispered in fear,
But the grizzly leaned close, its breath so near.
"Next time," it said, "ask for something more tame—
Like a hug, or a puzzle, or even a frame."
The gift was not what I had planned,
But it was Christmas,
And the bear was grand.
